Keebly legal
Terms of Service
Effective October 3, 2026
Agreement
These Terms of Service govern your use of Keebly and are provided by the developer and publisher of Keebly ("we," "us," or "our"). By using Keebly, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What Keebly provides
Keebly is a personal journal and reference tool for mechanical keyboard builds. It lets you organize keyboards and parts, record revisions and sound samples, compare configurations, create shareable build cards, and read curated keyboard-related editorial content.
Features may change over time. We do not guarantee that every feature, article, external link, or device-specific capability will always be available.
Local accounts and device data
The current version creates and authenticates accounts locally on the device. You are responsible for keeping your device and credentials secure. Deleting the app or using Delete Account and Data may permanently remove local records. Keebly does not currently provide cloud recovery or cross-device synchronization for those records.
Your content and sharing
You retain responsibility for build names, notes, recordings, images, and other material you create. When you choose to export or share material, you represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to do so. The iOS share destination you select is a separate service governed by its own terms.
Acceptable use
You must not use Keebly to create, share, or submit material that:
- Is unlawful, threatening, harassing, hateful, fraudulent, or sexually exploitative.
- Infringes intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- Contains malware, spam, impersonation, scams, or attempts to interfere with the app or service.
- Seeks unauthorized access to another person's device, account, or data.
We may restrict access to hosted content or future online features when reasonably necessary to enforce these rules, protect users, or comply with law.
Editorial and external content
Keebly may display editorial material and links to third-party sources. This information is provided for general reference and can become incomplete or outdated. Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners. We are not responsible for external websites, products, or services.
Intellectual property
Keebly's software, interface, branding, and original editorial material are owned by or licensed to the developer and publisher of Keebly and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app in accordance with these Terms.
No professional advice
Keyboard configuration, modification, and assembly information is provided for general informational purposes. Follow the hardware manufacturer's instructions and use appropriate safety precautions. Keebly does not provide engineering, electrical, medical, or other professional advice.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Keebly is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer and publisher of Keebly will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of local records, profits, goodwill, or data arising from your use of Keebly. Any mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Termination and deletion
You may stop using Keebly at any time. You can erase the local account and associated local data from Me > Data & Privacy. We may discontinue hosted services or restrict access where permitted by law, including for abuse, security threats, or material violations of these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms when Keebly or applicable requirements change. Continued use after an updated effective date means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.
