Keebly legal

Privacy Policy

Effective October 3, 2026

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how the developer and publisher of Keebly ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use Keebly. Keebly is an iPhone app for documenting mechanical keyboard builds, parts, revisions, sound samples, and related editorial content.

Information stored on your device

Keebly stores its working data locally on your device. This may include:

This version does not provide cloud sync for those records. We do not receive this local data merely because you create or store it in Keebly.

Microphone and audio

Keebly requests microphone access only after you choose to start a sound recording. Audio files remain on your device unless you deliberately export or share them using an iOS sharing destination. You can delete individual sound samples in the app or erase local account data from the Data & Privacy screen.

Network requests and editorial content

Keebly may contact our content service to retrieve published keyboard builds, guides, news, and related media. Those requests can involve technical information normally required to deliver an internet request, such as an IP address, request time, requested path, and basic network or device headers. We use this information only to deliver, secure, troubleshoot, and maintain the content service.

Keebly does not use advertising SDKs, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs in the current version.

External links and sharing

Editorial items can link to source websites. Those websites operate under their own privacy practices. When you use the system share sheet, you choose the destination and the information you send. The selected destination's privacy terms apply after you share.

Support communications

If you contact us, we may receive your email address, message, screenshots, and any diagnostic details you choose to provide. We use that information to respond, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, and maintain support records. Please do not send passwords or information unrelated to your support request.

Retention and deletion

Local app data remains on your device until you delete an item, use Delete Account and Data, or remove the app, subject to the behavior of your device backups. Support communications are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for support, security, and legal obligations. Operational service records, if enabled, are retained according to our hosting configuration and then deleted or anonymized.

Your choices

Children

Keebly is a general-audience keyboard utility and is not specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly use the app to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support communication, contact us so we can review and delete it when appropriate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Keebly's features or data practices change. We will update the effective date on this page and provide any additional notice required by applicable law.
